When Elkie & Ark, an Australian-based luxury linen company first approached us, they needed help in selling out of all their stock in Australia. We devised a strategy that enabled them to achieve their goals through a mix of Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Email Marketing. Here's what happened.

The Problem 

Elkie & Ark is an Australian-based linen company that focuses on producing luxury bed linen that is both sustainable and ethical. 

Throughout its time, Elkie & Ark has been hugely successful and has won numerous accolades including being awarded the World's Most Sustainable & Ethical Bed Linen Brand... as well as being featured across various media outlets - from Vogue to Belle Magazine, the Huffington Post, and more.

As late, Elkie & Ark has been shifting its sights on the American market. As a result, the company wanted to sell out of all their stock in Australia. So they approached Marketing Architect to discuss how we could help facilitate this.

When we first embarked on discussions, given past experiences with Facebook Ads buying, Elkie & Ark were a little hesitant to invest in paid traffic mediums for fear that it might not work... but the results were vastly contrary.

The Solution 

After better understanding Elkie & Ark's goals, we created a strategy to help them drive the sales of the remainder of their stock here in Australia. Our strategy was very holistic and involved various digital marketing platforms...

From a website standpoint, our focus was dedicated on how to help the client drive stronger conversion rates and a higher average revenue per conversion. This process involved doing a complete website optimisation audit from the homepage, through to the product page, right through to the purchase process.

We also created a series of different solus broadcast emails to Elkie & Ark's subscribers, promoting the stocktake sale. All copy and creatives used throughout each of the emails were influenced by past email marketing performance data that the client had.

Finally, we also ran Facebook ads for Elkie & Ark where we created a funnel of different ads and audiences based on cold, warm and hot prospects. Ample testing was carried out across different audiences, and creative elements using Rapid Fire Testing.

To complement Facebook Ads and help drive additional digital touch-points to prospects, we recommended the client also use Google Ads.

The Result

Thanks to our holistic digital strategy and execution, we were able to drive a collective 352 purchases through Elkie & Ark's website, amounting to a total of $63,050 in revenue in just 10 weeks off the back of investing $18,896 in Facebook & Google ads. This resulted in a ROAS of 333%+ for Elkie & Ark... and a lot of very happy new customers!
